- Synopsis:
- Seymour habitually sneaks out to wander the territorial streets of New York, getting roughed up by the neighbourhood crowd that includes mermaid (Annabella Sciorra), one of the neighbourhood girls. Marisa Tomei co-stars as Detective Costello, a tough police officer who is brought in to investigate the murder of Seymour's mother, a renowned civil activist as well as his sole provider. Seymour disappears and on a one-man mission to find his mother's killer he learns that he has a new ally in his father. Intensely heartfelt journey that transforms Seymour from the boy to the man who must now stand up for himself and become The King of The Jungle.
