- Synopsis:
- British television drama about a man named Peter Kingdom (Stephen Fry), a solicitor in a small market town who runs a practice that he used to run with his brother Simon before he went missing about 6 months before the start of the series. The series follows Peter’s life in Market Shipborough and his investigation into the events that led his brother to mysteriously disappear. He must also contend with his half sister Bernice (Hermione Norris), a woman suffering from mental illness that Peter tries to help settle into life in Market Shipborough.
