Stephen Fry returns to the role of Peter Kingdom, a wise, warm-hearted solicitor in the small Norfolk town of Market Shipborough. With a remarkable ability to remain cool-headed in the most fraught circumstances, Peter Kingdom is often the man to go to with any problem, legal or otherwise, and many locals do. It's a time of great change in the offices and household of the Kingdom family. Peter has become Uncle Peter to his missing brother's child; there are lighthouse mysteries and brotherly burger wars; pilot paternity and sex shop shenanigans. Meanwhile Lyle his trainee solicitor is up to his bulging eyeballs in nudists and Peter's sister is about to bring a new stranger home. Ted the pub landlord and the remarkably quirky Sidney Snell are bringing complaints aplenty to the Kingdom offices and, in the midst of these average days in a small Norfolk town, the presence of Peter's prodigal brother Simon is felt once more in several unexpected ways.
