- Synopsis:
"Kingdom" is a story about family, loyalty, ambition, glory, lust, betrayal and the raw-nerue needs and desires that inspire people to greatness or drive them to unthinkable treachery. The series takes place in Venice, California and is set against the backdrop of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). In the second half of season 2, Alvey is forced to face his past and deal with the impact of what's happening with the people around him. Ryan's championship match is in doubt and he accepts a challenge that will test not only his physical endurance but also his relationship with his best friend. Nate takes on a new role at Navy St. MMA gym, but insists on returning to the cage to prove he has what it takes to make it as a fighter. Alicia prepares for the biggest fight of her career. Jay's journey of ups and downs to battle his addiction and find humility progresses as his chance to secure the lightweight title nears. Christina is attempting sober living, nearing completion of a 90-day rehab program. But that doesn't mean she's abstaining from all pleasures.
