Live screening of the West End musical co-directed by Jerry Mitchell and Brett Sullivan. Following the sudden death of his father, Charlie Price (Killian Donnelly) inherits a men's footwear factory in Northampton that has been in the family for several generations. After assessing the books Charlie realises that the factory is running at a loss and he is faced with the uninviting prospect of closing the family business and laying off its team of workers. However, a chance encounter with flamboyant cabaret act Lola (Matt Henry) convinces Charlie that by producing boots for Lola and her cabaret act the factory can become financially viable again. Despite difficulties due to unwillingness on the part of some of the factory employees they soon realise that their livelihoods depend on their ability to get the design right for Lola and her team.
