- Synopsis:
- Set in 1918, we meet Klimt on his deathbed where his visions transport us back to the 1900 World Exhibition in Paris where Klimt was awarded a gold medal for his work. At the exhibition he encounters the enigmatic and exotic dancer Lea De Castro (Saffron Burrows) and as his life becomes torn between his mistress and wife, his encounters with the mysterious ‘Secretary of the State’ begin.
