The world-renowned Daniel Barenboim conducts the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra in this historic 2005 concert held in the West Bank city of Ramallah as Israel was ending its long occupation of the Gaza Strip. Staged in memory of Palestinian-American writer Edward Said and to foster peace in the Middle East, the performance includes Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony no. 5 and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Sinfonia Concertante" in E-flat Major.
