Kurtulus Son Durak (2012)

Turkish black comedy in which a female psychologist arrives in a remote region of the country and sets about encouraging the local women to overcome their problems. When Eylem (Belcim Bilgin) begins her new job, the women that come to see her have a number of issues. Vartanus (Demet Akbag) acts as a virtual slave to her sickly father, Gulnur (Ayten Soykok) is abused by her husband, while Goncagul (Nihal Yalcin) is kept as a mistress by a man with no intention of ever marrying her. In short, the women are in subjection to men. Will Eylem be able to help the women realise their own power?
