- Synopsis:
- While living in the United States, Esha (Esha Deol) falls for fellow-student Rahul (Tushar Kapoor). Rahul too is attracted to Esha. Esha returns home to India to tell her parents (Raj Babbar, Nina Kulkarni) about her love for Rahul, and the family is happy and begins preparations for their marriage. They accompany Esha to Rahul's house and Rahul's parents (Rajesh Khanna and Smita Jaykar) approve of Esha but when they ask Rahul, to everyone's amazement, he refuses to marry Esha.
