This hilarious sketch show, starring and written by Angus Deayton and Geoffrey Perkins, began its life as the comical radio series Radio Active. Made famous for lampooning commercial radio stations, it was destined for the small screen, crossing over effortlessly to mock satellite television. KYTV succeeded at combining irreverent sketches and variety elements with a broad-based satire of the public perception of UK satellite television at the time - that of opportunistic entrepreneurs producing cheap, low-quality television! With clumsy links and amateurish presentation the order of the day, KYTV wouldn't be complete without malfunctioning equipment, underpaid and incompetent staff; not to mention the relentless commercial intrusions, including plugging home shopping channel the Sofa Shop! - Actors:
