La Cenerentola: Metropolitan Opera (Luisi) (2014)

Fabio Luisi conducts this Metropolitan Opera production of Rossini's update of the 'Cinderella' fairytale. Joyce DiDonato plays the title role as the girl who is treated as a slave in her own home. Her fortunes change,however,when she meets the dashing Prince Ramiro (Juan Diego Flórez ). Cesare Lievi directs the performance,with Pietro Spagnoli,Alessandro Corbelli and Luca Pisaroni appearing in supporting roles.
