- Synopsis:
- Ladies of Letters is a British comedy and drama series about two women and the bond they share in their letters to one another. The series follows Irene (Maureen Lipman) and Vera (Anne Reid), two elderly women who don’t have many friends except for each other and how their letters prove to be the most important thing in their lives as they experience love, loss and other emotions through them. Even though their relationship finds itself strained by words written in their letters they still keep writing to one another.
