Land (1996)

Angel is a complex being, he believes half man, half angel, half alive and half dead, whose consciousness is governed by a voice that speaks to him from the cosmos. It appears is a region of hills of red earth with the mission to fumigate, and thus end with the plague of cochineal that produces in the wine a strange taste to earth. But Angel finds the opportunity to resolve his personality split by choosing between two women. Part of him is seduced by Mari, an eighteen-year-old girl, brazen and very sexual, while the other falls in love with Angela, a married woman, shy and simple.
