- Land Girls is a British period drama series about the lives of four girls and how they are changed when they are sent to a farm to work the land during WWII. The series follows Nancy (Summer Strallen), Joyce (Becki Gemmell), Bea (Jo Woodcock) and Annie (Christine Bottomley) and their years spent and adventures they get into as they do their part and the relationships they forge with each other and the men at Hoxley estate.
