- Synopsis:
- Suffused with mystery, and set against breath-taking landscapes, this bold and dramatic interpretation of the temptations of Christ explores Jesus' confrontation with the devil in his last days fasting in the Judean desert. Finally contemplating a return to civilisation, and his imminent death, Jesus happens upon a troubled family dealing with a much more earthly problem: the young son being desperate to leave the familial home against his father's wishes, in search of the big city. Amid this family struggle we see Jesus wrestling not only with Satan, but also with his own faith.

Disappointing....... - Last Days in the Desert review by CP Customer
I wanted to like this because of the subject matter and I also like Ewan McGregor as an actor. However, the story never really went anywhere and I kept waiting for something to happen. The whole film felt flat and even the scene were a man fell off a cliff did not really raise the excitement or interest levels. I couldn't recommend this at all!!!
