Russian director Dover Koshashvili's debut feature is a funny and sometimes painful account of one man's late journey of self-discovery. Zaza (Lior Ashkenazi), a 31-year-old grad student, must endure his parents' many attempts to arrange a marriage for him - and their antagonism when they discover he's been dating an older divorcee with a child. Koshashvili eschews easy laughs and clichés in favor of subtly performed, well-observed family drama.
