Moving Film - Latter Days review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
22/01/2007

A moving story about a closeted homosexual mormon missionary from Idaho coming to LA where he meets his opposite, a one night stand guy who bets 50$ with his colleagues that he can get the mormon in his bed. They live in the same block so they get to meet each other and these meetings change both of them, since both can teach each other a lesson or 2 about life. Recommandable.

The conflicted main characters are interesting enough that you want to see how it ends. Definitely worth watching.

Disappointing - Latter Days review by tw

This was like a school film group project that did not go well at all.  The whole synopsis of Mormon boy led astray could have been handled in a much more developed and sensitive way and the ending was a bit Disney.  All the characters were wooden cliches and no developments or convincing interaction between them left an assembly of cardboard cut outs acting very badly though a cliche story. I nearly switched it off.
