- Synopsis:
- Spin Off of the wildly popular Law & Order franchise, the series follows detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Christopher Meloni) as they investigate crimes of a certain nature as part of a special task force. Often the crimes follow themes of a sexual nature as Benson and Stabler must investigate and build a case for the District Attorney’s office to prosecute the perpetrators with. The series also follows the DA’s office as they bring the cases to court and attempt to win their case with the help of the two detectives.
