- Based on the US show Law and Order, Law and Order UK stars Bradley Walsh, Jamie Bamber and Freema Agyeman and follows the same general formula of the other series as detectives Brooks (Walsh) and Devlin (Bamber) investigate a plethora of different crimes and build a case for lawyer Alesha Phillips (Agyeman) to use to prosecute the suspects. The series looks at murder, theft, assault and the many crimes that need investigating and the process used in England to bring the criminals to justice
