Le Sacre Du Printemps/The Firebird: Mariinsky Ballet (Gergiev)

Valery Gergiev leads the orchestra and ballet of the Mariinsky Theatre in live performances of Stravinsky's 'Le Sacre Du Printemps' and 'The Firebird'. 'The Rite of Spring' reconstructs Nijinsky's original choreography from the 1913 Paris premiere,whilst 'The Firebird' recreates Michel Fokine's choreography,first performed by the Ballets Russes at the Paris opera house in 1910.
