Synopsis:
Pablo Heras-Casado conducts this production of Donizetti's comic opera. Rolando Villazón stars as Nemorino, a peasant in love with the beautiful and wealthy Adina (Miah Persson). Desperate to win her heart, Nemorino buys what he believes to be a love potion from a travelling doctor. Will it prove successful? Other performers in the opera include Ildebrando D'Arcangelo, the Balthasar Neumann Choir and the Balthasar Neumann Orchestra.
