This documentary looks at the end of the Second World War and the surrender of Nazi Germany. It places the German surrender into the context of the many great struggles simultaneously spanning both the Atlantic and Pacific theatres. It also shows the anger of soldiers as emaciated prisoners of war are liberated from German stalags and the horrors of concentration camps are revealed.
