- The Motion Crew are a group of South London rappers led by DJ Danny 'D-Biz' Lewis (Ashley Walters). For Danny, his music is everything and his crew are like family. Danny's loyalty is put to the test when he falls for the beautiful Carmen (Louise Rose), who is related to one of their most hated rivals, a member of the violent and arrogant Hard Cash Crew. Both crews seem certain to face each other in the rap battle finals of the prestigious Mic Masters competition, a thrilling event that will offer a final chance for Danny to beat his rivals and make it big. British 8Mile - Life and Lyrics review by CP Customer
Not much to say about this other than it is 8 Mile set in London. It's a good story but if you've seen 8 Mile it is just too similar! It's about rap, gangs, crime, poverty and loyalty with a love theme running throughout.
