- Synopsis:
- This film takes place in the Madrid neighborhood of Maravillas. Eloísa (Lina Canalejas) is an efficient wife and mother, who lives with her husband, a municipal guard who more than once puts his hand on his wife. His son, a beatified man who left the seminary shortly before becoming a priest, spends his life studying and praying to atone for his family's sins. The daughters, two sisters, live obsessed with money.
