Rent Life in the 1950s (2009 - 2009)

Life in the 1950s is a British documentary two parter that depicts how life was back in the 50s for people in London and how the many social and historical factors affected the decade. The series follows the aftermath of the second world war as Britain tries to bring itself out of the slump of the war and return its country to its prosperous past. However rationing is still in effect and many cities are still rebuilding but people become optimistic thanks to certain events in the decade.
