The 'Life of Riley' continues to elude the Riley family in the second series of this hit sit-com. Both remarried, Maddy (Caroline Quentin) and Jim (Neil Dudgeon) are at the head of a modern day extended family - children, step children, step siblings and half siblings - with a few ex-partners and in-laws thrown in. In this series we find Maddy competing with her ex-husband's new girlfriend and regretting reading Katy's diary. Meanwhile Jim finds out he can't say no and suffers when he watches a scary film with Danny (Taylor Fawcett). What's more, the whole family discover some uncomfortable truths about each other when building works mean they have to share rooms. As they face up to date night, evil babysitters, teenage romance, Mums on the run, learning to drive and Ted (Patrick Nolan) coming down with a dose of Robertson's Giant Limb, it's life as we know it, only a good deal funnier.
