- Synopsis:
- British wartime fantasy musical starring Errol Flynn and Anna Neagle. When dancer Carole Beaumont (Neagle) is knocked unconscious during the London Blitz, she falls into a reverie of believing first that she is Nell Gwyn, mistress of King Charles, and then that she is Queen Victoria. Meanwhile, the story unfolds of the music hall romance between Carole's film star father Beau (Flynn) and stage star mother Lillian (also played by Neagle). Songs include 'Keep the Home Fires Burning', 'We'll Gather Lilacs', 'Dance Little Lady' and 'Lilac Tango'.
