Based on a true story. Academy award nominees Tess Harper and Frederic Forrrest, star in this inspiring story, based upon a real life drama, of the Brady family, fighting to adopt a Little Girl who first came into their lives as a foster child. Telia (Marie Martin), is a spirited well adjusted four year old until the bureaucratic social welfare system and unsympathetic courts decide to return Telia to her natural father, whom it soon becomes apparent is abusing her. This is the courageous tale of the fight the Brady's undertake to win her back. A poignant and topical story with universal themes of love, compassion and caring.
