Comedy directed by Adam Rapp and starring Ivan Martin, Michael Godere and Marisa Tomei. When two men down on their luck sense an opportunity to revitalise their careers they grab it with both hands, telling a producer that they have the perfect noir screenplay for him. The only problem for Raphael (Martin) and Dominic (Godere) is that they haven't actually written the screenplay. Hastily retreating to the quiet home of Dominic's sister, the two men hunker down for ten days of frantic writing. However they are soon distracted by Ava (Isabelle McNally), the pretty young woman next door, and before long Dominic's sister Gigi (Tomei) returns home followed by her boyfriend Wayne (Sam Rockwell) and his friend Devon (Brian Geraghty). Suddenly the struggling writers find themselves on a hotbed of emotion and attraction with their writing taking a back seat.
