- Lost is an American science ficiton series written by popular writer/director J. J Abrams. An epic mystery series, Lost follows the survivors of a plane crash who wake up on an unknown and seemingly deserted island. Drama follows a large ensemble cast as they attempt to live side by side on the strange island, fighting against the mysteries of “the Others”, a terrifying smoke monster and the inexplicable appearance of a polar bear on their tropical island. Heavily serialized episodes often end with nail biting cliff hangers and jump from the present into the history and back story of individual characters.
