Among the many theories about the existence and location of Atlantide there is still a little known that has attracted the attention of national geographic. During the time of the great discoveries explorers sought in vain a mysterious earth that was identified by the name of unknown land. Still today, the inhabitants of the Easter Island, claim that their ancestors came from a lost continent called Hiva, then sunk into a cataclysmic event. Now the researchers have found some interesting clues in a group of Polynesian islands that might have been the origin of this ancient and fascinating civilization. For over 400 years this remote archipelago is known as the Marquis Islands, but earlier Polynesians naturally called them hiva islands. This national geographic production, taking inspiration from new evidence, seeks for answers to this great enigma. Using various surveys and also using DNA analysis, we try to find out if this was the original people of the lost continent of Hiva.
