Camille Guichard directs this documentary about French artist Louise Bourgeois. Focusing primarily on themes of sexuality, femininity and isolation, her work has been associated with all the major artistic movements of the 20th century. Best known for working in a large scale, as with her spider-like sculptures, and for experimenting with unusual materials such as latex and silicone, Bourgeois has been as outspoken and provocative in her life as in her art.
