- Love / Hate is an Irish drama series about the effect the drugs trade in Ireland takes on a young man and the many battles and problems that arise from it. The series follows drug trafficker John (Aiden Gillen) and Darren (Robert Sheehan) and the drug trade that consumes their lives. The series follows Darren’s fall into the world of murder and deception as John and his many rivals battle for control of the trade while Darren doesn’t quite know who to trust or stick with.
