Synopsis:: The young jazz conductor, Jan (Henning Moritzen), returns to Copenhagen after a failed tour. His uncle, a renowned singing professor, lets him live in his apartment, and when the young Landskrona girl Maj (Siw Malmkvist), comes to receive singing lessons, Jan is tempted by the quick money, and pretends to be the professor. But in Copenhagen's romantic summer streets, Jan lets himself be captivated by the adorable Swede. He decides to tell the truth, but Maj is not quite the one she pretends to be either...
