- Grace Bontempo (Helen Mirren) is the epitome of an emancipated woman. Married to her business partner Charlie (Joe Pesci), she runs the "Love Ranch", Nevada's first legal brothel and has long given up on the romantic notions of love. But her life changes when Armando, a young, heavyweight boxer is brought to the ranch to train. When Grace's infatuation with the young man blossoms into a passionate affair, an unexpected love triangle develops as Charlie and Armando fight for the woman they both love.

Movis Horribilis - Love Ranch review by DB
I hated this film, even Helen Mirren could not redeem its horrible sleazy no hopers and criminal no goods. I actually couldn't watch it all and sent it back half finished, this is highly unusual. If you like films about sleazy brothels then this is for you, if not then don't bother renting it...
