- Synopsis:
World Cup '90, Italy - Argentina, the Azzurri thrown out on penalties, a man thrown into the Tiber aboard a car that he can't drive. A Roman producer on the verge of bankruptcy, Leandro Saponaro (Giancarlo Giannini) is fished out but it was not the water that killed him, nor the impact. Giusy Fusacchia (Marina Rocco), a cuddly girl and lover of Saponaro, swears that three would-be screenwriters were to kill him: Eugenia Malaspina (Irene Vetere), Antonio Scordia (Mauro Lamantia), Luciano Ambrogi (Giovanni Toscano). After having filmed America for the first time, on the run between Detroit and Florida (Ella and John), Paolo Virzì retires to his homeland and signs a yellow comedy aimed at observing the deep intertwining between individual existences and collective history. - Actors:
