Power in the wrong hands gives birth to anti-social activities. One such criminal donning the garb of a politician is Daata Guru. While one of his sons, Gumaan Singh is just like him, his other son Karan is not a part of his notorious activities not is he aware of his father's true identity Chhoti Bahu, Daata Guru's Daughte-in-law, is a widow. In order to put an end to Daata Guru's Exploitation, Master Dinanath Shastri decides to contest the elections. Daata Guru wants to win unopposed. To teach Master Dinanth. A lesson, Gumaan Singh rapes his sister Radha. Gumnam Singh escapes imprisonment and Master Dinanath is rendered helpless. Even Master Dinanath's brother, as S.P.
, fails to do anything of note. Shankar works for Daata Guru, He never fails to raise his voice against injustice. Tulsi is his sister. Tulsi and Karan are in love. Shankar foils Gumnaam Singh's bid to rape Choti Bahu and to avoid further threats to her dignity, ties and knot with Choti Bahu against Daata Guru's wish. This results in a rift between Karan and Tulsi but when Karan comes to know the truth, he leaves his father's house and starts residing in Shankar's house. Daata Guru is furious and unleashes a rein of terror in the village. This tussle between the villagers and Daata Guru is no longer a struggle. it's a war.
