Dominic Dromgoole directs this British drama based on Robert Holman's play which depicts three short stories featuring characters dealing with the effects of war. In 1944 in Kent, conscientious objector Oliver (Luke Thompson) strikes up a friendship with artist Eric (Matthew Tennyson). In 1982 in Redcar, a mother mourns the death of her son in the Falklands War. In 1996 in Germany, Holocaust survivor Helene (Deborah Findlay) hosts a British man and his stepson and tries to help them overcome their own past trauma.
