- Successful businessman Romuald barely notices the black woman, Juliette, who cleans his office nightly. When Juliette tells Romuald that two of his senior colleagues are planning to oust him he can hardly believe it - but she turns out to be right. Thanks to Juliette's intervention, Romuald salvages his career, but when she wants his help to bail her son out of jail, he isn't there for her. Cuckolded by his wife and forced to live in Juliette's cramped apartment, Romuald slowly realises that only one woman can satisfy his romantic desires but having already been disappointed by five husbands will Juliette feel the same way?

To put it simply, this film is one of the most heart warming and romantic films, of any nationality, you will see in your lifetime. Gentle comedic moments gravitate with the meaty emotional scenes, played onto a backdrop of absolute poverty, to the unadultrated wealth of the lead characters. This truely a film of opposites attracting, through a common love of life.
Do see this film and restore your faith in beauty and love.

heartwarming French Farce - Mama, There's a Man in Your Bed review by CP Customer
Daniel Auteuil when he was younger just after his appearances in Jean De Florette and Manon De Sources. If you liked either of these films you will certainly enjoy this one. It is one of the better French films I have watched, easy to follow while reading the sub titles. If you like French films rent this one!
