- Synopsis:
Dan (Greg Davies) is a childish fool trapped in an adult's life. Still stuck in a teaching job he despises and rejected by the girl he thinks will solve everything, Miss Lipsey (Jeany Spark), he turns his attentions to self-improvement. His friend Jo (Roisin Conaty) seems blissfully happy with near-constant failure, and Brian (Mike Wozniak) seems distracted by an unspoken event that is rocking his steady world, meaning Dan must fend for himself. His always kind mother (Gwyneth Powell) and petrifyingly blunt aunt Nesta (Stephanie Cole) seem to think he needs help - and his pupils agree.
