- Harry Bliss (Nicholson), proprietor of 'The House of Bliss' guard-dog agency, can't believe his luck when he's hired by beautiful opera singer Joan Spurance (Barkin). She's the perfect victim for Harry's charms - timid, vulnerable, and rich...
