Synopsis:
It was a day few Leeds United fans will ever forget. Described as "Cup Minnows" during the build-up to The FA Cup third round tie against Manchester United, Simon Grayson's Leeds United side achieved what no other Leeds United side has achieved since 1981 by picking up a memorable victory at Old Trafford. Grayson's unfancied League One heroes pulled off one of the modern-day shocks of The FA Cup by sending the Premier League champions crashing out of the famous competition in front of a sell-out Old Trafford crowd. Roared on by almost 9,000 fans, Leeds turned in a superb performance to record a victory that will live forever in the memory of all. No one expected us to win on this stage except perhaps 9,000 Leeds fans, and the players and us in the dressing room!
