Ray Wilkins, Gordon Strachan, Ron Atkinson and Mark Hughes - 4 towering Old Trafford alumni - give their verdict on the key moments from some of Manchester United's Eighties domestic campaigns and the players who took part. With two F.A. Cup wins in 1983 and 1985, a League Cup Final appearance also in 1983, the Eighties almost resembles a fallow period by United's current standards of achievement: but not so. United in the Eighties were still defined by a creative and attacking style of play that lead to many a classic performance particularly against arch-rivals Liverpool (excerpts from 3 games are included here).
