Marc Bolan forever held the belief that one day he would be famous and also that he would die young. In both respects history was to prove him right. This programme features rare footage and provides an in-depth view of the man and the musician. It also depicts the events leading up to the darkest of nights for his legion of fans - when the star that burned so brightly would suddenly be extinguished at the tragically young age of 29.
