- During India's struggle for freedom, Raja Azad Singh was a force to be reckoned with. He was a major threat to the foreign rule, until he was betrayed by his friend, Harry, and arrested. His wife had to leave their child in an orphanage so that she could ensure the child's survival. This child grew up to become the champion of the poor: his name was Mard!
