- The touching story of Maria Goretti (Martina Pinto) and Alessandro Serenelli (Fabrizio Bucci), two young people whose intense friendship could have become a love story, but in an impulse of violent passion, Alessandro transforms it into a tragedy. The film of tender and simple youth wants to show that it's possible to conserve the Christian values even at the sacrifice of one's own life, testifying of mercy and the force of love without measure.
