Collection featuring two documentaries about the Hollywood legend, Marilyn Monroe, plus her early film 'Hometown Story'. The documentary 'Hollywood Hall of Fame' examines why the tragic star has remained such an iconic figure over the decades, while 'The Suicide - Fact or Fiction?' seeks to answer some of the outstanding questions that stubbornly remain about Marilyn's death. In the film 'Hometown Story' (1951) Blake Washburn (Jeffrey Lynn) plays a local politician embittered when he fails to get re-elected and who blames corporate interests for his fall from grace. He sets about getting his revenge via a job writing a column in his uncle's newspaper, exposing the undemocratic machinations of big business. But when his sister Iris (Marilyn Monroe) is trapped underground in a cave in, it is one of the big businesses he has railed against that comes to her aid, throwing him into a moral dilemma.
