- Jenny (Carol Clark), whose life has never been easy, is swept off her feet by the dark, handsome, successful painter Erich (Perry King). Six weeks after they meet, her wildest dreams have come true, they are married and she is able to turn her back forever on her sordid New York apartment, the endless battles over money with her ex-husband and the misery of bringing up two small children on a very low income. Little does she realise that her husband is a dangerous psychopath, who has married her to expiate an earlier sin - the murder of his own mother. Only extreme courage will save her life when she discovers the truth.
