Documentary focusing on the connection between two renowned figures of French culture, writer Louis Aragon and artist Henri Matisse. In December 1941, Aragon visited Matisse in Nice and for two years the men spent nearly every day together. Almost 30 years later, Aragon published his novel 'Henri Matisse Roman'. Using Aragon's text and Matisse's artwork, this film looks back at that meeting.
