Years ago, during the last hours of the Vietnam War, members of the 143rd Ranger Battalion came across a brutal POW camp where North Vietnamese soldiers force American POWs to fight to the death in bamboo cages. The Rangers decide to free the POWs. A massive battle ensues during which one of the Rangers, Santos, saves the life of Robert McBain (Christopher Walken). Santos tears a one hundred dollar bill in half giving one half to McBain; a marker callable anytime, anywhere. Present day: drug lords and repressive generals have taken over Columbia. Santos is now a freedom fighter leading a rebel army that is trying to reclaim Columbia for its people. Santos is captured and executed. His beautiful sister Christina (Maria Conchita Alonso), heads north with half of the hundred dollar bill looking for McBain. McBain reassembles the surviving members of the 143rd Ranger Battalion and joins Christina and the rebel army. A new war begins ...
